AFMI also has a project of political education for the advancement of Indian Muslims. It has made several deputations to the highest ranking political leaders in India. This includes submitting memoranda advocating the concerns of Indian Muslims, offering advice on educational policies, and issuing press releases.
AFMI delegations have met on various occasions with the President, the Prime Minister, and a host of other leaders and policy makers. While the results of this exercise cannot be measured tangibly we believe that it does influence policy makers and leaders to undertake beneficial measures for the benefit of the Indian Muslim community.
